Subprocessors

These are the third-party services Schooka uses to run the product, and what each one touches. We'll update this page before adding a new one that handles teacher data. See our privacy policy for the full picture.

| Stripe | Payments and subscriptions (merchant of record; calculates and remits sales tax). | Your name, email, and payment details. Card numbers never touch Schooka's servers. |
| DigitalOcean | Cloud hosting, database, and file storage. | All application data, encrypted in transit and at rest. |
| Google Sign-In | Optional "sign in with Google" for teacher accounts. | Your name and email, only if you choose Google sign-in. |
Students never create accounts, so no subprocessor receives student personal information from Schooka.
